weekend training day 2

waiting for the staff picture

such an exhausting weekend. i had 6 hours of sleep TOTAL for two days. went through scenarios. over the basics of what we should be doing as staffers. talking about parents. about incoming freshmen. we talked about self-esteem. about suite discussions. we talked about personal stories and secrets. and everything we might need to know when staffing. i feel prepared to actually staff a hall. class of 2014??? i'm readdyyyy.

after training. ate a chipotle. then headed over to diamond jamboree to hang out with some other staffers. walked around. played a giant game of ninja in front of everyone else there.

came back. and headed out to the movies with ji and tiff. we watched how to train your dragon. it was good the second time around but it went by really quickly. i dont remember falling asleep...but i might have.

TIME TO SLEEP FOREVER. learned a lot this weekend. time to relax this week again haha

we ate a delicious dinner.

i must say it was the best way to start a day.

then i showered

and headed 0ut to spectrum with the twins

came back and had family dinner

asian night was pretty delicious.

then drove elaine back to her home home

so she could pick up some stuff.

my mom would accidentally send me an hour early..

i enjoy coming home. not having to cook. people babying me all over the place. i must be the favorite. haha just kiddingg. but really. i brought home my load of laundry from the past THREE months and my mom is doing all of it because she refuses to have me touch the washer/dryer. THANK YOU. i don't know what i would do without my family. even through all the MEAN jokes. i know that they really do care for me.

if this is what summer is like then i'm really going to enjoy it. i've never really experienced summer like this before. it's so carefree. NOTHING to worry about. just thinking about whatever i want to do next. it's so nice just to say "hey i want to go to the pool today" and not have to worry about school. or work. or anything. if only my whole life could be this relaxing and fun. i'm really really loving summer so far. and it's been a week? haha.

HAPPYness is

just that. it's open ended. and as eric and i were discussing this while eating our homemade lunches at the lake i couldnt help but think how incredibly inspiring this idea is. WE have the ability to make happiness into whatever we want it to be. it doesnt have to be defined by what other people tell us it is. so i intend to find out just what this open ended sentence is, to me.

went to buccas for dinner. we celebrated sina's 22nd. then we headed over to downtown fullerton for drinks. i've never been so scared of cops before until they are banging on your window telling you it's illegal to transport alcohol in a moving vehicle. GOOD THING THAT IT WASNT OPEN. scaryyyyyyyy.

started off the day with a picnic in the park with doris. eric. and ken tran.

then went to CDM with these two monsters

after the beach i napped. watched the lakers WIN back to back. then we headed out to barnes and nobles. watched kick ass after that. that movie was crazy. hahahaha. but very entertaining.

this past week or so has been incredibly busy. i cant believe that finals week was last week. so much has happened since then. so emotional. but its been unforgettable. i hope this is the summer where i grow the most and find out who mr. jason is.

pretty much spent the entire day in bed. then went to disneyland with craig. it was good conversations even though we were both really drained. after we met up with doris and eric at bar louie for a few drinks. ended the night with the killers movie. SUMMER IS SO GOOD.

i dont know why but everytime i go out with your three i end up going crazy. having fun. and drinking. but im glad we did this. we said what we needed to say from the past four (or one) year. and the tears were just as real as the words. thank you for tonight. thank you for expressing how much you guys care. about your fears. and thanks for not judging me for mine. i freakin LOVE you guys.
