i think that it was really sad just knowing that it was my last day. but it was at least a good last day. mrs. olson threw a mini party for my last day. she gave the kids pretzels and gummy bears. while i was passing them out i got to the front of the class when mrs. olson asked the students if they had any compliments for me. they raised their hands and she started calling on them. they were thanking me. one even complimented on how i look like a rockstar everyday. haha. and then she said for me to call on them. so i called on the rest of the students who raised their hands. it was honestly really touching. and even though they were first graders and probably didnt really know exactly what was going on, i was really happy with what they were saying. i'm happy that my presence in the classroom was helpful. i also talked with derek for a while. instead of reading we talked about korean words and even a little about korean culture. i quizzed him on words that i knew and he quizzed me back..obviously i didnt know any of the words haha. except for grandpa and grandma.
after tutoring i headed over to reggaefest. but instead of staying i ate lunch with donna instead at the student center. it was a really good conversation in the time constraint that we were dealing with. she's really encouraging and she has some really important things to say.
then i had work. from 4-6. nap from 6-7-:30. then work from 8pm-11pm.
