today at costco a mexican lady came and asked the guy if anyone spoke spanish there to help her. but the guy responded that no one spoke spanish there. i overheard her speaking to her granddaughter about getting a passport but i still didnt say anything. the guy ended up helping her by their limited ability to speak each other's languages. i knew that i couldnt fully translate for her but i still felt like i could have helped her in that situation. but i didnt. which is another time when i didnt use my voice when i could have. it happens more than it should. times where i feel like i can't say things because i dont have enough courage in myself to do so. hopefully i find my voice and use it next time.
